THE RETURN OF A LEGEND
-
NWKC starts and stops with proper form, versatile function, and conscious construction. Although subtle in appearance, the character of its garments are ingrained in the details. We are driven by the relationship between style and utility, fiber and function.
Our exclusive range of MDC (Merino Dual Cloth) fabrics are knit, cut, and sewn across the United States using globally renowned raw materials and components. All in an effort to reduce our footprint, increase our efficiency, and uphold quality so that we can provide the best possible garment at the lowest possible cost.
We have set out to create an assembly of fabrics and products that allow us to do more with less. More style, more utility, all with less pieces in our wardrobe, less care required to maintain them, less buying frequency, and less waste because of it.
The original introduction of NWKC in 1888 came with a focus on developing double faced wool fabrics alongside alternative fibers to compliment its natural character. The reintroduction today holds true to this belief and has set out to continue the Northwestern Knitting Company legacy as a US-based manufacturer of quality, technology-driven garments built for heavy rotation.
